La Symphonie de Ségriès is a unique artist residency for musicians.

Set in Provence at the Monastery of Ségriès, for 10 days, 20 musicians from around the world — along with several associated artists (choreographers, filmmakers, writers, photographers…) are invited to meet and engage in a creative dialogue across disciplines, crafting a singular musical experience.

It is a time of free and spontaneous co-creation, dedicated to artistic exploration and experimentation. The residency culminates in a full day and evening of public concerts. This is La Symphonie.

NEXT EDITION – SEPTEMBER 2026

Led by musical filmmaker Vincent Moon, in collaboration with Julien Colardelle (Souffle Collectif) and Julie Henoch (POWA), the curation is carefully developed ahead of time, while also shaped organically through human and artistic encounters.

Conceived as a space for sharing know-how where everyone learns from one another, La Symphonie fosters exchange between diverse cultures and sparks collaborations that often flourish far beyond the residency itself.

It is rooted in an open philosophy, with all recordings shared freely under a Creative Commons license. In this sense, it exists on the edges of the current cultural industry.
