Summer Opera Training in Italy

I am currently an Elementary/General Music teacher in the Fort Worth Independent School District at Carroll Peak Elementary.  I studied voice at Stephen F. Austin State University where I received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education.  While attending SFA I performed as a chorus member in several opera productions which include Susannah, Die Fledermaus, and La Traviata.  I also had the opportunity to perform in opera scenes as the title role in Carmen and in 2013 I performed the role of Emma Jones in Street Scene.  I have also participated in the Opera Breve vocal intensive program where I performed the role of Zita in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi and participated in several master classes.  I have now been given the opportunity to participate in the International Lyric Academy in Viterbo, Italy where I will perform a principal role of Third Lady in The Magic Flute and have several concert appearances.  Being able to go would mean the world to me as this is a program that could really help mold a foundation for the singing career I am planning to achieve.  Any little bit goes a long way, I am appreciative and grateful for all that you can do!
