Hi my friends I am asking for your help, my sweet niece Sylvia was recently  hospitalized for a week, she had necrotizing fasciitis that started from MRSA. It took a while for the doctors and specialist for infectious diseases to figure out what it was. The infection was spreading and the only thing they were able to do was to cut her open to remove pockets with puss. When the surgeon opened her up he realized that the situation was far worse than the CT scan showed. He said he has never seen anything like this in his 30 year career.  During first surgery the surgeon was able to remove most of the puss but later she needed two more surgeries to clear things further. The wounds need to remain opened for a week or two so they can keep draining and after it's all cleared up she will have to go in for fourth and hopefully final surgery to close up the wounds. We're very grateful the infection didn't spread to her blood or started eating away  her heart muscle. 

After trip to urgent care, then ER, three surgeries, isolation in ICUs, now my niece Sylvia is finally back home and in recovery and doing better, she still has a long way to go to be back to work and to her normal self. Her insurance only covers some of the hospital bills and is not great at covering treatments necessary for healing and recovery.
