Sylvia's nursery is a small, family run business that provides a warm and nurturing education for our children and is an important part of our community here in Queen's Park. As with many other businesses, it is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly as Sylvia and Tomas took the decision to waive all fees for parents.

 They have successfully been able to use the Government's support to furlough their brilliant staff. Unfortunately, that's where the support ends and they have been unable to secure grants or loans to cover rent and bills, let alone their own costs. It's unclear when Sylvia's will be able to open again and the longer this goes on, the harder it gets.

 As parents, we want Sylvia's to still be here when the lockdown ends so that our children can, once again, go happily into nursery, play with friends and learn about the world around them. That is why a group of parents are getting together to ask that, if you are able to (and with complete understanding that some will not be), then please make a donation to help support Sylvia's during this difficult time.
