Sylvia Whiteshield Memorial Fund

This GoFundMe is created to support the family of our dear friend, Sylvia Whiteshield, who passed away suddenly Saturday, December 15.

Sylvia was a spirited, compassionate person who valued her family and friends above all else. She leaves behind a son, Robert, who lived with Sylvia and their 2 dogs, Rocky and Jazzy. Her mother, Dolores, and sister, Gina, lives a few doors down and would often come over to find Sylvia engrossed in another good book. As an avid reader, she logged hundreds of books every year (her favorites were epic romance novels and historical fiction); she also logged an equally impressive number of steps after many fun-filled days at her favorite hangout, Disneyland.
 
If you knew Sylvia, it was easy to see how much she loved her job at Blizzard Entertainment, where she worked for almost 20 years. As senior legal coordinator for the Legal department, Sylvia impacted the lives of many with her incomparable sarcasm and unerring work ethic.

Sylvia’s sudden passing is tragic, and we want to help ease the devastating effects on her family by providing financial assistance through this difficult time. We are hoping to raise enough money to help cover expenses and allow her son time to grieve Sylvia’s passing. Any amount, no matter how small, is helpful and very much appreciated.
