Sylvia Nzambu Power Chair Fund

This fundraiser is for Sylvia Nzambu a Kenyan lady who was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Sylvia and I grew up in the same neighborhood in “Civoh” Nairobi, Kenya.
Sylvia currently uses a manual wheelchair for daily mobility, but the progression of her disease is making it hard for her to manage a manual wheelchair.
Sylvia contacted Melissa Volanti in Illinois through an online ALS support group. Melissa donated a motorized wheelchair that her father had used before he passed away from ALS.
Recently, Sylvester Erude and I (Victor Erude Lidaywa), picked up the power chair from southern Illinois after contacting Melissa.
We are planning on shipping the power chair to New York at the Kenya Airways offices.
Kenya Airways has agreed to ship the chair free to Kenya.
Civoh Boys Alum Group is also helping with donations.
