Hey everyone my name is Tanya Martineau, Sly’s big sister. As you are all aware Sly was tragically killed on October 24, 2023 in a multi vehicle accident coming home from a hockey practice with the Lakeshore Canadiens. He was only 20 years old. He was
recently traded to the Canadiens from the Wheatley Sharks where he played for a little over a year. If you know Sly, you know that he was loved by so many people around the community. Hockey was his passion. He’s been playing since he was 4 years old. He was born with skates on. With such a sudden loss of this nature nobody is ever prepared for something like this in any way. Any donations raised will be going towards the funeral expenses. Thank you so much, any penny raised will be greatly appreciated. Rest in peace Sly.
