Syleesta's Recovery Fund

Hi, my name is Lisa Cutler. I have started this Gofundme on behalf of my nephew Syleesta and his parents, Elgin Cutler & Natalie Sullivan. Syleesta is scheduled to have neurosurgery on March 7, 2023. Once the surgery is complete, he and his family will be in Vancouver for at least one week post-op. Upon returning home, the recovery time is approximately six weeks and will require constant care. Funds raised will help the family with travel, living costs and lost wages during this time.

Syleesta was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex at a young age; he has had seizures for most of his life. His seizures have become more intense and violent in the last few years. This procedure will remove tubers in his brain in hopes that it will alleviate the intensity of his seizures. We are hopeful for Syl to find some relief from this invasive surgery.
