My name is Tom Davidson and along with a group of friends, we have decided to take on Ben Nevis, on the 10th of June, to raise funds for the Owen McVeigh Foundation who do so much good work helping kids with cancer in Liverpool, giving them memorable experiences that they wouldn’t normally get. One of the reasons I have chosen this foundation is that they have helped my own sister Ava while she was going through her first cancer treatment. Unfortunately her cancer has returned and it has again brought home to me, the importance of Foundations like this to bring some happiness to children going through a traumatic period of their lives.
