My name is Anthony "InkBoy" Chestnut. I am a Baltimore native and local artist in the city. I love using my imagination and inspiration to create pieces that bring joy to others. I've always been a problem solver and I enjoy finding and creating "life hacks." When I became a dad I realized that with such a busy schedule and running a business full time I needed life hacks that would simplify difficult tasks and us help parents during times of forgetfulness.
What I mean by that is my wife and I would have to put Sydny's diaper bag together quickly to meet deadlines and make appointments. We would remember to bring a change of clothes and pull ups but would forget to bring her sippy cups. That may not sound like the worst thing that could happen for some but for others it may be a recipe for a meltdown for their child.
Yes, by a certain age children can sip out of straws but trusting a child to drink when the car is moving is asking for a mess. Either they tilt the drink up to towards their face (mimicking the feel of drinking from their sippy cup) and spill it on themselves and in other instances they injure themselves with the straw. My reusable bottle top turns most bottles into instant sippy cups. This allows them to lift it comfortably to their face and you don't have to worry about spilling nor straw injuries. In addition to children, my SYDTOP is helpful for the injured and infirmed who have difficulty drinking from traditional cups and bottles. It allows them to drink independently without worry of messes.
We have grown leaps and bounds during this process of building our team over the past year. We have a pending patent and technical drawings have been developed. We have sourced our supplies and hired a manufacturer from the United States as well. So much progress has been made. We still need a little help from our supporters. Your donation will help us to purchase the custom mold necessary to replicate the SYDTOP and mass produce it for distribution.
Once we have met our goal we will be able to sell our products online and also distribute them in some of your favorite stores. This is so exciting. It feels amazing bringing my idea to life and I am grateful for everyone who donates. Thank you in advance.
