Syd's top surgery recovery

Hi everyone -- I'm making this GoFundMe on behalf of Syd, who is currently recovering from top surgery.

Syd has wanted top surgery for a very long time and was never quite sure when they'd be able to get it due to costs and scheduling. After waiting months to hear back from MaineCare, they finally got the call to schedule their appointment (and learned that MaineCare would cover the surgery!). They quickly rearranged their schedule to make this opportunity work, and they got the surgery two weeks ago.

Syd is healing really well! But healing takes a long time, and they aren't able to do much in the meantime. This GoFundMe is to help cover expenses while they aren't able to work: rent, bills, groceries. It will still be a few weeks before they're recovered enough to think about getting back to work again.
