Sydni, our Studio Manager at OTF Morrisville, was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in December 2024. Mid-March 2025, Sydni had half her thyroid removed with the promise that this was the end of her face-to-face with cancer.

Three weeks after surgery, biopsies, and testing, Sydni found out her cancer is a more aggressive form called Tall Cell Carcinoma. This form of cancer is a more challenging form of thyroid cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer has spread to her surrounding skeletal muscle and lymph nodes, requiring additional surgery and radioactive iodine treatment with the possibility of a full neck dissection.

Sydni will be having her remaining thyroid removed in the coming weeks, radioactive iodine treatment, and any other procedures her doctors may require to make her healthy.
