Sydney’s Lemonade for Scoliosis

Donation protected
Hey! Sydney here and I'm now 12 years old and headed to 7th grade! I wanted to give you an update on our mission of helping other kids with scoliosis. Since my siblings and I started, we have donated in 4 states including Colorado, California, Oklahoma and Iowa. We are hoping to make it to at least two more states this summer! Other than lemonade stands, I now sell 3D printed items and give 20% of my business back to our scoliosis mission. The support I receive from my community is very touching and generous! At the end of this school year my entire middle school supported "Sydney's Lemonade for Scoliosis" by hosting a lemonade stand for all 3 grades for an entire week! One of the best moments I've had while doing this was when I learned that two other girls who received one of my dolls in Iowa started their own fundraising and gave back to their local hospital too! I have been fundraising for 3 years now and plan to continue so I can help as many kids as possible. Thank you for your support and following me on my scoliosis journey!

Initial post:
Hi, my daughter Sydney has been tackling scoliosis for over 3 years and has been bracing since she was six. In honor of Scoliosis Awareness Month, Sydney is working to raise money so she can donate Barbie Chelsea Scoliosis dolls to her orthopedic surgeon, her Scoliosis Care Center and local orthotics groups. She understands that wearing a brace can make young girls feel very different. Her hope is that providing this Chelsea doll to young girls who are just discovering scoliosis may provide them some comfort and help them feel not so alone on their journey. Today, June 24th -International Scoliosis Awareness Day, Sydney and her brother and sister held a lemonade stand to kick off their fundraising. Watching her tell her story and share her excitement for her mission, was truly humbling today. So far Sydney and her siblings raised enough to purchase 24 dolls! If you are able and willing to help a little girl help other little girls feel confident while fighting scoliosis we’d greatly appreciate your donation! Thank you!
