Sydney's Brain Tumor

When terrible news hits close to home friends and family all gather together to lend a hand and support each other. Now is the time the Limas/Dimock family need our support the most.
They received the news that no parent wants to ever get on January 16th that their child has a 4.5 x 3.7 cm tumor centered along the floor of the 4th ventricle. It is sparing the superior medullary velum, but it is extending into both the foramina and luschka. There is also secondary moderate dilation of the lateral and 3rd ventricles. This tumor is in her brain.
The next day January 17th she was down at UCLA children’s hospital meeting with doctors/surgeons and oncologist there and she will have surgery on January 18th 2017 to attempt to remove the tumor. At this time the doctors are hopeful that they will be able to remove the entire tumor. More will be known as far as what further treatment will be needed after the pathology comes back.
All this whirl wind over three days.
13 year old Sydney is full of life and has the biggest heart and is always the first to do anything for anyone at anytime. She is an 8th grader at Vandenberg Middle School.
This campaign is to help with the cost of travel back and forth to UCLA, medical expenses and whatever else Sydney may need during this time.
