Sydney's Accident

Sydney had an accident on 05/07/20 that resulted in fractured skull and a epidural hematoma.  She was outside watching our dogs while Dad was at work and Mom had to speak with the repairman, that was over to fix our water heater. Sydney fell down when the hammock that was fixed to a large tree stump had the bottom rotted out and gave way, tipping over onto her. She hit her head, immediately causing her to blackout. We rushed her to the E.R. where they did a CT scan to find that she had internal bleeding. From there they had to life flight her to Primary Children's Hospital. There they had to remove a piece of her skull to evacuate the bleeding. The surgeon stated that while the fall may have been from only about 4 feet up, it was against all odds that she had landed exactly on one of the natural seams in her skull causing significantly more damage. We are putting out a call for help right now in anticipation for the upcoming rehab and medical bills. We know that times are tough for all of us right now but, we would be forever grateful for any donations that you could make. Thank you for the help in providing the needed care for our daughter.
