Hello, my name is Sydney Alderson, and I’m a Life Scout from 1150 in Sparta working towards earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Since joining as a Cub Scout in 2019, I have expanded my horizons and hope to continue my journey by giving back to the community.

For my Eagle Project, I am organizing and leading the building of two horse wash stalls for Equine Therapy of NJ, a non-profit equine therapy farm in Long Valley that provides services that support children, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. However, to help keep the therapy horses healthy and comfortable, they need a safe and functional outdoor space to be washed and cared for. The new area will also provide a safe way for clients to assist in washing the horses in their sessions.
