Sydney - Age Group World Marathon Championships

Hi, my name is Nicky! After my perfomance at London Marathon 2023, I've qualified for a place in the Abbott World Marathon Majors, Wanda Age Group World Championships.

I have recently found out that this event is taking place in Sydney, on Sunday 15th September 2024

Although I have qualified for a place, I am not an elite athlete! so I still need to cover my own costs for travel and accommodation.

It would be easy for me to just say I can't go due to the expense of it all, in such a short space of time.

BUT what an amazing opportunity and experience it would be if "I could" somehow get myself there. Friends have been constantly telling me to set up a crowdfunding page....so I've now plucked up courage to do this.
