I am asking for help with an urgent medical issue for my dog, Odin. He has a cracked canine tooth with an abscess that is causing him significant pain that needs to be surgically extracted under anesthesia as soon as possible.

The scary part, we don’t and won’t know the extent of the damage, number of teeth that need to be extracted, severity of the infection, or his pain until a vet can get Odin into the O.R. and fully examine his teeth and mouth.

The lowest local estimate for this surgery is $2,500–$4,800, which I cannot afford on my own.

This dog has already been through a difficult life. He came from a home where he was mishandled, and since then he has had ongoing issues with his right hip and leg. Despite everything, he has remained loving and resilient.

Right now, my priority is simple: stop his pain and remove the infection.

Funds raised will go directly toward:

* Dental surgery (extraction of cracked/broken tooth (teeth))

* Treating the infection

* Anesthesia and surgical fees

* Pain medication & any other aftercare treatment prescribed by the vet.

Odin means the world to me! I can’t lose him! Odin and I lost our “person” in April of 2021, and I gave my son my word that I would do everything I can for Odin, & I AM trying! But, I am currently in debt and struggling financially.

I cannot delay this treatment/surgery, as Odin is in pain and the infection will worsen without the surgery.
