My Story

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I never imagined I’d be here writing this.

For the past 8 months, I’ve been unemployed. I apply for jobs every single week, but so far I haven’t gotten a single call back. I had some savings, but that ran out. My unemployment benefits ran out too. Then my car was repossessed, and now my house is about to go into foreclosure.

I’ve done everything I can to stay afloat, but I’ve reached the end of what I can manage alone. My only option left is to move in with my sister in Florida. This is a big move, and while it gives me a safe place to land, the cost of getting there and putting my things in storage is more than I can handle right now.

That’s why I’m reaching out for help. Every dollar will go toward moving expenses — packing, transportation, storage, and gas — so I can get to Florida and start over with family support.
