Help Raz get his neck surgery

Hi, my name is Razputin, I am a 7 year old Dachsund, but you can call me Raz for short. I have lived with my Momma Katie since she first moved to Texas 7 years ago. You see my Momma first got into her job because of me- she started working at the animal hospital where I first started to go for vaccines when I was very little and she found out her true passion was working with little critters just like me. Momma has done a great job of keeping me safe and having me checked for anything that can go wrong over the years.
Here is where I need your help. About 2 weeks ago Momma noticed my neck hurt on the right side and took me straight into her job. They thought I must have pulled something in my neck and started me on some mild pain meds. Unfortunately, I did not get better only worse. Momma knew it might need more specialized attention than what the doctors at her work could do so we went and saw a specialist in Dallas at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center.
The specialist told Momma I most likely have a disc in my neck that has ruptured and is pressing on my spinal cord. He then told Her that we have two options: 1) Start me on a steroid or 2) go forward with a CT scan and Surgery. Since Momma doesn't work for the specialist it is going to cost a lot of money. Unfortunately, Momma doesn't make that much as a Vet Tech and cannot afford the surgery so we tried the first option. We had to wait three days to start steroids since I was on a non-steroidal pain medication so I wouldn't get worse. Two days into waiting, I had a seizure in the middle of the night. Momma was told by the specialist that it could be that the swelling has gone up to press on my brain stem or I could have something else like Meningitis. We wouldn't know without doing an MRI first, which will cost more money. We started the steroids, and they are helping a little, but it is clear to the doctors and to Momma that I need the MRI and then possibly surgery. Both expensive for her.
It is my hope that you would please consider donating anything you can to help. She is all I have and I am her everything so we are both extremely worried and sad.
