Help for the Zimmermanns

A few weeks back, Scott was hiking and came down with a sudden headache and shortness of breath. He was treated by his doctor for a migraine. When he wasn't improving a mri and ct scan were scheduled. This showed his shortness of breath was due to blood clots in his lungs. The headache was the result of a small stroke. He also has clots in his legs. At present, he is in the hospital waiting for his brain to heal so he can be put on blood thinners. Thankfully his brain is healing on its own and no surgery is needed. He started a new job on October 30th. Unfortunatly he is a contract employee and is not paid for days off. There is a high probability he will not have a job once he is well. That said, we will have to continue his insurance thru cobra. As you can imagine, it is going to be tough to keep up with monthly bills, cobra and medical bills. I am not one to ask for help often. I always believe we can figure it out ourselves. This time I don't see that happening. We have a great support system for which I am very grateful. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated. We love u all.
Thank you to all!
Michele
