Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help for our wonderful friend Patty Andersen as she faces another hurdle in her difficult cancer battle.

Recently, Patty’s doctors discovered that her cancer tumors are growing back around her abdominal lining. While it is not in her liver, it is on her liver, making treatment critical. She will be undergoing chemo infusions of Oxaliplatin and Capecitabine pills — similar to her first round of treatments — as her doctors work to fight this aggressive disease.

Erik and Patty have always been the kind of people who step up to help others, never the ones to ask for help themselves.

But right now, they need us.

On top of this emotional and physical battle, Patty and her family are facing an immense financial strain. With Erik’s union work being scarce, they lost their union heath insurance in November, and the COBRA coverage they currently rely on for Patty's care is incredibly expensive. Erik is tirelessly searching for employment while also attending to Patty's cancer care needs. However, the rising costs of insurance and daily living expenses are making this journey even more challenging for them.

Patty has always been someone who gives selflessly to those around her. Now, it’s our turn to give back. Any donation—big or small—will help ease the financial burden on the family, allowing them to focus on what truly matters: her health and recovery.
