Brain surgery

This is MikeZ. In 2018 I began having seizures. In 2019 I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. After numerous try’s with medication and every medical test I can think of, nothing worked to stop the seizures. The doctors had no explanation for why I contracted Epilepsy so late in life. They finally decided that brain surgery would be the best possible solution. It entailed removing the portion of brain that was malfunctioning. That surgery was completed with some minor side effects but has put me on disability since June of 2022. While still in recovery, I’m about to lose my insurance. The surgery and medical bills add up to approximately $2700.00. With insurance over on September 30, I’ll be forced to start cobra which costs about $2000 per month. I may not be able to return to work until February or March. I also have to reimburse my employer for insurance premiums they have already covered for me. The amount owed to them is 2012.00. As you can imagine, with disability only, and regular bills, my savings has been depleted and now the additional bills have given me no where to get funds. This added stress does not help the healing process. I’m encouraged that the surgery will be successful, but won’t be 100%sure for some time. This type of financial request has humbled me. I’ve always worked through challenges in my and my families life and now I’ve run out of resources. If you find it in your heart to help, I will be able to remove this added stress and continue my recovery. I appreciate all the help. God bless you.
