Bill Rary was a Lieutenant with the Chesapeake Fire Department and part time chimney technician.
He apparently suffered from some type of accident and was found at the base of a ladder that he was working from while repairing a chimney. No one actually saw what had happened.

Bill leaves behind 2 children.
Fireman and Chimney Sweeps are a special type of person. It takes someone truly unique who cares about the safety and well being of others to serve in these type of jobs.
Bill was both of those.
