I am so happy to report that Dave’s surgery was a success. Dave and I continue to stay positive during this journey .Your generous gifts are greatly appreciated and we are putting them to good use. My Name is Jamie Wilson. I am fundraising for my Husband Dave. We have been married 28 years . “Every Night is Prom Night “ that’s what Dave would always say our life was like. Unfortunately Dave is now in stage 5 Kidney Failure. Dave suffered from an infection 4 years ago. I have never known anyone to work harder to get his quality of life back than my Honey .Walking miles everyday with the dogs. A major change in his diet loosing 60lbs. All this continued hard work to no avail as his kidney function continues to fail.

Dave is a patient at the Mayo Clinic Phoenix.

We travel once a month for testing while receiving 10 hours a day of dyalisis . As you can imagine this is extremely hard on Dave. I , along with friends and family all tested to see if we were a match for Dave. Miracles do come true. I along with an Angel at his work both are a match. Dave feels extremely blessed to have so many friends and family that so deeply care for him. I have no doubt that I will be able to give my Husband my kidney. We have so much to live for. Our Daughter Devin and Son in Law Imani are expecting their first child in July. Our Son Hayden and his Wife Satiera have a 2 year old son named Vance James . He calls Dave Papa. Dave and Vance spend hours playing with little cars and big cars alike. Hayden and Satiera are expecting their second child. They are also due in July! With both Dave and I going through the transplant journey it can be quite expensive. All the testing, pre op procedures,recovery of 8 weeks at Mayo, you can only imagine how financially taxing it can and will be for our family. I believe there is no better Warrior than Dave. I know Dave “Dwilly” as his friends call him, will be back to his humorous self soon. Dave is an Amazing Husband ,Great Mentor, Leader, Forever Friend, Brother, Father, Uncle and Grandfather.

This is Marybeth, Davids sister in CA.

Miraculously, Jamie is a perfect match for transplant. Being accepted into the Mayo Clinic is a gift in itself. Testing is intense & extensive.  

So many blessings yet so many obstacles.

David has had 5 surgeries in the last 6 mo. Jamie has had one w/ an additional hospital stay for an infection & contracted Covid & Pneomonia.

Having their eye on the prize everyday.

David & Jamie are independent contractors.  So after 9 mo. of missing a lot of work opportunites & 8 weeks of recovery coming up they need financial help. Two of the most proud & hardest working couple with such a generous heart & spirit I know this is hard for them.
