Swim for Ipswich Hospice

Join me in making a difference for people needing end of life care in the Ipswich community. My name is Nyree Swan and I am a local doctor. I have been part of the Ipswich Hospice team caring for terminally ill patients for 15 years. I'm planning to swim 5km at the Balmoral Swim for Cancer on 3rd April 2022 in support of Ipswich Hospice (...or at the Coolangatta Classic on 10th April 2022 if travel plans are affected).

 

Ipswich Hospice is a seven-bed community facility, providing quality end of life palliative care to terminally ill patients, and support for their families in a caring home-like environment. Services are provided in the Ipswich and West Moreton region in south-east Queensland, Australia. There is a dedicated team of nurses who provide 24 hour care in a peaceful environment so families can focus on spending time with their loved one.
