Pay Tribute to Phil
Dear friends & family,
I am writing to you today after a lot of thought, grieving, and feelings of hopelessness. After much discussion, We want to give Phil the memorial & celebration of life he deserves, to honor everything he gave us in life. Although there was no blood relation, Phil happily took on the responsibility to raise me as a father since the day I was born bringing me home from the hospital, loving me unconditionally, coming to every dance recital, bringing me to countless auditions, teaching me what life truly is about and never once turned his back on me. I truly would not be here today without his love and support. In 2015 I gave birth to twin sons and there was no one more excited to welcome these boys into the world as he immediately took them under his wing introducing them to some of the best things in life that he treasured most. ( We all know how much Phil wanted sons as he adopted a lot of the guys through out his years ) It deeply saddens me and breaks our hearts daily knowing our Pop is gone so unexpectedly. He had so much planned and so much more life to live with us all. I'm sad he won't have the chance to walk me down the aisle or finish the tree house, teach the boys how to drive, see them graduate or grow into young men. Their baseball gloves lie unused, their matching cadilliac rings remain in a safe, their hot rods sit in his garage untouched. We are so lost without him. Its so scary knowing we have to face this loss and continue on living every day without his guidance, support, stories, laughter, and love. He meant so much to so many people and in my greatest attempts he will never be forgotten by anyone. Donations will go towards holding a COVID safe memorial sometime in August, maintaining the website I have created as a place for all of us to come together as a community to show our respects and remember Phil collectively.
Any contribution large or small is helpful during this time. Even if no monetary amount can be made we invite you to check out Phil's website and share a memory.
