Help the Walker family.

Izayah Walker is a proud Bundjalung young man, at just 15 years old he has a strong connection to his culture and family.

Unfortunately he became unwell back in September when he had an unexpected seizure. Izayah attends boarding school and he was rushed to RPA in Sydney where his family from Yamba NSW rushed to his side. At first doctors thought epilepsy then his thyroid then diabetic then the Cat Scratch Disease . It was then found he had abscess on his lung so 3 antibiotics.

Izayah had a Severe Drug Reaction to the medication. He was then flown from Grafton Based Hospital to QLD Childers Hospital in Brisbane and is currently in ICU, his family is by his side.

The Walker family are always the first ones to help others, they have so much pride in their culture and sharing it with community.

They are very proud and would not ask for help, so I’m asking for them.

This journey has been and emotional roller coaster it has also put a financial strain on the family.
