Breast Cancer Give Back
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Kimberly Horwitz and live in Chattanooga, TN. I was diagnosed with Tripple Negative breast cancer at the age of 33 and was blessed to be told after my surgery there was no evidence of disease!
Now at a year later I want to do my part for others! I felt there’s no better way to support my pink sisters currently in this struggle, than to make Cancer Care Baskets for those in active treatment. I’ve chosen to help those in my local area for this upcoming breast cancer awareness month in October 2020 by presenting them with chemo and radiation must haves.
I remember one of the hardest things during that time, for me, was the overwhelming loneliness even when surrounded by loved ones. Hopefully these will make someone's day, week, or month a little brighter, and make them feel less secluded.
If you are not able to give with monetary donations but still want to help you can certainly do so by sending homemade face masks, blankets, beanies, warm socks, cards with words of encouragement, or anything else that may be useful. Please contact me directly and I will be more than happy to work with you on getting them in the baskets.
All donations will be used to build Cancer Care Baskets for active treatment patients through the Mary Ellen Locher Breast Center here in Chattanooga.
