Johana’s son
Donation protected
UPDATE: After a long fight, Johana passed away this past Wednesday. Thank you to everyone that ever donated, those who shared, my family appreciates everything that was done. Unfortunately they weren’t able to find a cure for her, she spent her last days surrounded by family and loved ones. She will forever be remembered. Because of everything my cousin had to spend on trips and doctor visits, everything was invested in trying to cure her. She leaves behind a son, who unfortunately will not get the chance of growing up with her, the least I feel I can try to do is ask everyone if they could please share and donate if they can. Everything will go to my cousin and his son, who loved her so so much. Thank you
I usually would never do these things but I’ve never had a reason to until now. I was living in Ecuador a couple of years ago and got to finally meet my cousins wife, Joana. She is one of the sweetest kindest people I’ve ever met. Her and my cousin had been trying to get pregnant for quite some time, and a year and a few months ago they were finally blessed with a beautiful baby boy. He is their greatest joy. Unfortunately Joana was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer that unfortunately hasn’t been heard of in the city where they live in Ecuador. The chemotherapy has stopped working because they are unable to give her the right treatment as medical help is difficult in Ecuador due to COVID-19. Now what is most precious to them is only time. We don’t know how much she has left and because of it my cousin has had to leave work to take care of her and little Joan. With the pandemic, costs have gone up and without work it’s been extremely difficult for them to make do. They are also trying to see if it will be possible to receive the treatment she needs in Colombia. If possible all of the money would go towards that. Unfortunately they are unable to find any sort of treatment for her in Ecuador but if she is able to get to Colombia she has a chance.
I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of life than Joana. She deserves to live to watch her son grow up alongside her husband. Please if anyone could donate, a few dollars goes a long way. I understand with the pandemic sometimes we are unable to help but even sharing would be amazing. I know they will appreciate anything that’s given. Thank you.
