Saving Trouble

Hey everyone. My name is Tony, and I'm raising funds to help my loving, special kitty Trouble, who needs surgery to help fight off a bacterial infection that's threatening to kill her.

Trouble came into my life nearly 5 years ago when we agreed to foster some kittens whose feral mother had died. She was so tiny that she fit ENTIRELY onto the palm of one of my hands. We fed her and loved her, and she's grown into a strong, sweet girl who lives up to her name.

I bottle-fed her, and while I didn't know it at the time, she would become my most constant and steadfast companion.

Trouble has become an integral part of my life, simply by being here with me, spending time with me, and being a loving, mischievous, playful presence when I've needed it. Now, she's in literal trouble. Two weeks ago, she was hospitalized with what has turned out to be a perforated bowel.

She's already had 2 surgeries to attempt to correct the issue, but the location of the trauma makes it difficult to maintain cleanliness without bacteria reinfecting the site. She's going to need at least two more surgeries: one to put in a tube to divert her fecal matter away from the site to give it time to heal, and then another surgery to take the tube out once it's healed.

I'm fighting like mad to keep her alive, but these surgeries and hospitalization costs are enormous. Whatever her outcome, I will be paying off a large bill for a very long time. That's why I'm asking for your help.

Trouble has been AMAZING throughout this entire process. She's been brave, and strong, and full of life. I visit her every day to make sure she knows her daddy misses her and wants her to get well so she can come back home. She keeps fighting, so I keep fighting for her.

The complications and bills keep piling up, however. I'm at a place where I'm going to need help. So I'm putting my pride to the side and humbly asking for any help you can send to me and my sweet baby here. I'm doing daily updates and occasional videos on my YouTube channel and other social media; if this site allows for it, I'll make sure those updates get here as well.

I don't know that I can aptly describe just how much Trouble means to me, be it through written words, videos, pictures, or what have you. All I know is she's in the fight of her life, and I'm bound and determined to help her win. She'll be 5 years old in May, and at this point, I want nothing more than to help her celebrate her next birthday and the many more to come after it.
