This is Luna. We adopted her in 2014 when she was just a kitten. Adopting Luna brought happiness to our family that we thought we would never feel again after my mother died in 2011. A little while ago, we noticed that Luna seemed more thirsty and sleepy than usual, so we decided to take her to the vet.  After 24 hours of waiting, we were told that Luna has diabetes.
In order to keep Luna alive and healthy, need to keep regular vet visits, buy her insulin and other medical materials, and put her on a special diet. We were devastated; not only is Luna suffering, but we also knew that we couldn't afford the current and future medical bills and everything else Luna needs. I live off of disability checks, so I make less than $500 a month. My family members are also struggling financially, as they are currently unemployed. We didn't know what to do, but we knew we needed to help Luna. We decided to try GoFundMe. I realize that everyone is struggling and the world is garbage right now, so if you can spare anything at all for Luna, we would be forever grateful.
