I rescued Tigger and treated his eye problems — now he’s fighting for his life, and I need help to save him.

Tigger is a sweet stray cat , when I first found him, he had bad eye problems and other health issues, but with care and treatment, I was able to make his eye better and give him love and comfort. He is the most cuddliest cat I have ever met!

Sadly, now he is facing a new and urgent battle: he has a painful stone blocking him from urinating. The vets say he needs surgery, but his liver and kidneys are weak, which makes everything more complicated. He has already been at the vet for a week, and that alone will cost me over 600 — not including the surgery costs still to come. It wa a shock to me because if I had know that would be the cost I wouldnt have been able to afford it. I thought he would have gotten the surgery a lot sooner than that and then to het a bill like that just broke me. I am desperate to help him but I literally cant do this alone.

I don’t normally ask for help, I have on a couple occasions when people suggested it but mainly because I’ve always tried to be the one helping and normqlly can do it on my own. For years I’ve cared for strays — feeding and spaying/neutering a colony of cats, rehoming kittens, and giving disabled cats a chance at life. I’ve also taken in dogs, finding them homes when I could, and keeping the elderly ones with me until their last breath so they didn’t have to suffer alone on the streets. I even recently rescued a lovebird after spending two days trying to catch it before the cats could hurt itafter they had already killed its partner. Which btw I felt so bad and sad about. But happy I could save one of them. The thing is I care too much I suppose and then I end up in the s++t. I cannot just watch an animil in danger or suffering and just walk on by hoping it will wnd soon or someone else will help because mist of the time people wont (not all of the time ofc) I just have to try and help beause I care so much about our world, our animals evenour insects.

Now I try to save every penny I can from the two jobs I have. Some weeks I buy the cheapest food I can for myself just to make sure they all get fed and I can put money away for things like this. But this sudden vet bill has left me in a really rough place.
