Young family hit by a drunk driver

My 22 year old niece, Brooklyn, her husband, Josh, and their two little girls, Aubrey (4), and Mi’Lania (2) were hit from behind by a drunk driver in Arlington, Texas Tuesday night. Their truck flipped numerous times. The driver tried to flee but lots of amazing people who witnessed this blocked him in so he couldn’t get away. Aubrey, thank God, is ok, just some bruising and soreness. Brooklyn has broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung. Josh has broken ribs, collapsed lungs that he underwent surgery on yesterday, and a shattered, mangled leg that will require extensive surgery/surgeries along with lots of therapy. He’s in extreme pain and will not be able to walk, much less work as he was the sole income provider, for an extremely long time. Mi’Lania, the baby, is in really bad condition. She was med flighted to a children’s hospital where she is on life support. At this time I’m not gonna go into specific details about her injuries but, unfortunately, it’s not good. Brooklyn was released from the hospital to leave and go be with her baby. Josh can’t leave the hospital so he can’t even be with his baby right now. Mi’Lania needs a true miracle. This family will not have income for quite a while, however they’ll still have bills, rent, electricity, phone, groceries, and lots of meds … Before they know it the medical bills will start arriving in the mail. I have no idea if the 25 year old drunk driver had insurance or not. It’s two days before Christmas and this precious young family will not be spending a happy day together. Instead, they’ll be crying and praying that their baby girl survives. I’ve had numerous people message me wanting to contribute financially.
