Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of The UK Mastocytosis Support Group and every donation will help.
My 6 year old son, Joseph, was born with cutaneous mastocytosis. A rare condition where his body creates too much histamine resulting in episodes of extreme flushing & redness, not unlike someone experiencing anaphylaxis, causing fatigue & affecting mood, not to mention the lesions on his body which will stay with him for life.,
He was hospitalised at just 6 days old, just 2 days after coming home post birth. It was truly the most worrying & upsetting experience my wife and I have ever had to endure. The not knowing what was wrong with our little boy was agony.
A seemingly never ending amount of blood tests & biopsies by the doctors & specialists at UHCW eventually helped them arrive at this diagnosis.
Joseph is still under the care & supervision of his paediatric specialist, dermatologists & a professor of immunology & we are ever thankful for their care, support & monitoring of his wellbeing.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
