Financial Support for Cora & Allison

It is with deep sadness that Allison and family announce the unexpected passing of Marc due to a rock climbing accident in Yosemite National Park on June 19, 2023. He was an accomplished and highly skilled rock climber, leader, father, husband and all-around exceptional human who was known for the integrity, warmth and positivity he brought to every aspect of his life and work. Marc will be terribly missed and the light he shared with the world will not be forgotten. In their 23 years together, Allison and Marc developed an incredible sense of teamwork, and that is always how they functioned. Since Cora was born 9 years ago, Allison and Marc worked together to support their family in a beautiful way. Allison has been primarily focused on caring for Cora and their 1 acre country home, while supporting Marc to build his executive consulting career. It has been Marc’s income that has been the primary support for their family.

Allison and Cora need the financial freedom to create the spaciousness that will allow them the time they need to grieve and heal. We want to make sure that their living expenses, including their mortgage as well as Marc’s end-of-life bills, are not a stressful burden on Allison. By supporting financially we will give Allison the time needed to figure out next life steps.

As their loving community, let’s come together in supporting them financially. With the high cost of living in the area, combined with unprecedented inflation, the amount that Allison is seeking will allow her to not have to choose between paying bills and things like grief work services. The bills are already coming in for Marc’s end-of-life arrangements.

What we know to be true of Allison and Marc is that they have built an incredibly loving, heart full, and generous community. Let us come together for support and comfort as she and Cora navigate the path ahead.
