Hi everyone,

Paddy & Gavin here — proud coaches of the Swords Celtic U8 Premier Team.

We are fundraising to give our amazing group of young players an unforgettable opportunity: a 3-day trip to the Euro Blackpool May Day Tournament, a UEFA-recognised competition that brings teams from all across Europe together. For our boys, this would be a chance to test themselves at a high level, experience a new environment, and create memories that will stay with them for life.

To help raise the funds needed, Gavin and I will be running a 60km ultra-marathon on March 14th 2026. We wanted to challenge ourselves with something big — something that would show the boys what commitment, effort, and teamwork truly look like.

Why we’re asking for your support

Trips like this come with significant costs, including travel, accommodation, meals, and tournament fees. Every euro donated will go directly towards ensuring every child on our team gets the chance to be part of this incredible experience — no one left behind.
