Swoop Shaves Head For Cancer
hey hey, recently, i made a bet that i would shave my head, subsequently lost said bet, and now here we are.
as you may or may not know, my nanna has been battling lung cancer for the last few years and she has been SUCH a trooper. when she was diagnosed, it was one of the hardest times for myself and our family. i had just finished coaching a footy game, got the call and broke down in the car. fast forward a few years and nanna, although still an ongoing battle, is a beacon of hope, resilience and strength.
i told myself that if she was to lose her beautiful curls, i'd shave my head in solidarity. now, i want to raise money for 'cancer council victoria' and thank them for their continued efforts with nanna and all the other people that they help.
i know it's an inopportune time to be asking for donations but anything will help and all proceeds, of course, go to the cancer council victoria.
