Switzer Vietnam Adoption

Hello! Let us begin by introducing ourselves. Our names are Gregg and Jessica Switzer. We are from Oklahoma and have been married for 2 years now. Gregg works for the City of Edmond Parks and Jessica works as a 2nd grade teacher for the Oklahoma City Public School District. Before we were married we had a strong desire to begin growing our family through adoption.  We feel that adoption is a direct representation of God adopting us through Christ . In scripture, we are called to care for orphans and widows and we truly sense that God has uniquely placed adoption on our hearts as a way to do so.   We are in the process of pursuing an older child adoption from Vietnam.  We are so excited to bring our child home; however, the cost of adoption is very high.  We have been saving for awhile and have saved and raised almost $15,000 of the total $30,000 needed to bring our child home.  We are beginning the process of applying for grants as well as fundraising in our area; however, we still could use support. If you feel called to give please remember all donations will go towards paying agency and government fees along with continued support for our child prior to coming home with us. Our adoption process will take between 1-2 years; however, we are already six months in and could use as much support as possible. We are trusting the Lord to provide for every step of the way and any support would be a huge blessing to us and our family!
