Switch_Fund

Hello! We're Switch_MCR. A Manchester-based theatre company creating new and exciting accessible work. Founded in 2018, by Ex-Royal Exchange Young Company members, we have grown to become one of the largest independent theatre companies in Greater Manchester.

We've worked hard to bring to life various theatre projects, including Senses of Responsibility (2022,) Blue Moss (2022,) Save Me A Seat Festivals (Ongoing) We Won't Fall (2020, International Anthony Burgess Foundation) and our OFFIE Award-Winning Horror Play The Other Side (2022), alongside comedy nights and intergenerational projects. We're also regarded for our monthly Switch_Lab sessions that help develop new writing and voices in our region.

 

We're passionate about making our work accessible to all so we're raising money to help expand our Outreach projects, help pay external practitioners for these projects, and allow for us to provide unwaged tickets to people who may not be able to access our work.
