I never imagined I’d be sharing something this personal—but sometimes life leads us to moments where we have to lean on the love and strength of our community.
Hi, My name is Maria Correa. I’m a passionate social impact storyteller, community builder, and world traveler. I’ve spent my life helping others—now I’m asking for a little help in return.
In 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder called Goodpasture Syndrome. It turned my world upside down and led me to live with chronic kidney disease. Thanks to God’s grace and some truly incredible doctors, I recovered and got back on my feet.
But after 9 years, my kidneys are now failing—and I need a transplant.
The best path forward for me is through a living donor, and while this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to ask, I’m sharing this with hope: I’m looking for someone who might consider being a donor, or who could help connect me to the person who can.
Follow my journey on Instagram (@maria_odaliz), share my posts, and help me spread the word. Together, we can save a life.
This is #SwipeRightforaKidneyMatch
With Love,
Maria O. Correa
