Dear friends and family,

My husband and I opened Swings and Wings in May 2019 with the intent to create a safe environment for children to have fun and learn and grow through purposeful, exploratory play.  Our core values of safety, cleanliness, inclusiveness and sustainability help to guide us every single day and in everything that we do.  Our vision is to create a community that engages children and their caregivers, while fostering relationships that grow beyond the walls of our premises.  

Swings and Wings is the culmination of years of planning, with many hundreds of hours of work, sweat, frustration and tears. We took a gigantic leap of faith with this project and continue to make sacrifices in order to keep it going. We are incredibly grateful and fortunate for all the support we have received thus far from our community as we found our footing, day by day and week by week. 

Just as we were becoming more confident that we could make it through the first year, the Covid-19 crisis knocked us completely off our feet. Today, we look with increasing uncertainty and apprehension at what the future might hold for us and our incredible team of 6 who have helped us get this far.  We humbly ask for your support to get us through this.
