Swiney Farms: A Sanctuary for Healing

Hi, I’m Reec Swiney, and I’m raising funds to build a place where animals, people, and purpose come together.

Through our nonprofit Positive American Youth and our farm, Swiney Farms, we’re creating a safe haven for rescued farm animals—many of whom were neglected or could no longer be cared for by their previous owners. But this farm is more than just a rescue.

We’re building an educational, therapeutic, and recreational space where kids learn about agriculture, families connect with nature, and veterans suffering from PTSD find healing and purpose through working with animals. We’re also adding a farm-based resort experience so local families can enjoy the peace of farm life—even if just for a weekend.

Your support will help us renovate barns, upgrade enclosures, purchase equipment, and acquire RVs to house veterans who work on the farm. We’re putting our own money into this project—but we need our community’s help to bring this dream to life. Together, we can create something that heals, educates, and gives back for years to come.
