Swimming Challenge to Raise Funds for School Sensory Room.
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Hudson and I’m 8 years old. I live with my mum Steph, my dad Andy and my best furry friends Chase the dog and Daisy the bunny.
I go to High Halden Primary School and I really, really want to help my school get a sensory room. A sensory room is a special place with lights, sounds and fun things to help kids feel calm and happy.
I have recently found out I have superpowers which is autism, and I know how important it is to have somewhere you can go when things feel a bit too much. I want to help other children with autism, and also neurotypical children too, because everyone can need a break sometimes.
So… I’m doing something HUGE!
I’m going to swim 2,500 metres (that’s equivalent to 100 lengths of Tenterden pool ). It’s going to be super hard, but I’m going to try my very best to complete this over the holidays.
Please, please will you sponsor me? Every bit of money will go to the sensory room so all kids at my school have a place to go when they need it.
It would mean so much to me if you could help. Thank you!
I’m off to get my swim trunks, goggles and lots of energy to keep practicing . Wish me luck!
