Seeking Sponsors for My 16-Mile Swim along Lake Zurich in Memory of Mum

In honor of my incredible Mum Sylvia, who was cared for with such compassion at Willowbrook Hospice in her final days, I’m taking on a 16-mile swim to raise vital funds for this amazing place. I'll be swimming the Sri Chimnoy Marathon Swim from Rapperswill Lido to Zurich on 3rd August this year.

Mum’s battle with cancer was short, but the care and dignity she received by the selfless staff at Willowbrook meant the world to us and to Mum. Now, I want to give back, but I need your help!

I’m looking for sponsors to support this challenge and help raise as much as possible for Willowbrook Hospice, so they can continue their incredible work for other families in need.

Why 16 miles? It'll be a real challenge as my longest swim to date is 11 miles and it represents the strength, resilience, and love my Mum showed every day.

I'm funding the event entry, my travel and accommodation myself so literally every penny you can spare will go directly to providing specialist palliative care for people across St Helens and Knowsley who have been diagnosed with life limiting illnesses, allowing them to enjoy the rest of their lives as positively and as pain free as possible
