I need your help to reach my goal of 3,500 Swiss Francs= 3650 Dollars to provide a Tanzanian school with access to fresh, clean water.
We will swim from the Unteraegeri Lido to Morgarten near the shore of the lake, which is a distance of about 5km (or 3 miles). We will swim in smaller groups and have a safety organization in place. The Aegeri Lake currently has a temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius which is why all swimmers will wear a wet suit. We expect to swim the distance in about 90 minutes, including 3 breaks with fluids and energy snacks.
In Tanzania, children often lack access to safe drinking water. Swiss WaterKiosk is a Foundation dedicated to making safe drinking water available. Since 2011 this foundation has helped 56 schools, 3 hospitals and 16 rural communities install a solution. At the end of 2016, more than 80’000 children and adults benefitted from this project. As part of an IB personal project I'm raising CHF 3’500 to install safe and sustainable drinking water in one school.
Please donate now and help me support these children. Thank you, every franc matters!
