3 Morpeth Under 15yr swimmers, Jacob, Gabi & Seren, take the plunge in representing English Schools in the International School Sport Federation in World School Games held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in August 2023.

In order to acheive this amazing opportunity, each of the swimmers need to raise substantial funds. Together they will are joining with their club, Morpeth ASC, to swim the 9000km that is the distance between their home club and Rio!

There are 8 squads in the Morpeth Team, 180 swimmers, that range in age from 7yrs to 60+. The youngest squads will swim from 1km/week to the performance swimmers that average approx 45km/week. The aim is to swim the distance from the 1st to the 30th of June 2023.
