Swim for the Salmon 2019

Tax deductible
Swim for the Salmon began in 2016 when a group of friends decided on a whim to swim across Lake Washington.

Since then our numbers have grown, incorporating SUPers, kayakers, and even a dog. In 2018 we decided to steer our course towards a cause we care about: salmon. As a keystone species, the health of salmon reflects the state of the environment, preservation of traditional PNW ways of life, and the human impact on our play space.

That’s why we decided to convert our recreational swim into a fundraiser in support of these values.

All funds raised from Swim for the Salmon 2019 will go to the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance. Puget Soundkeeper is an amazing local environmental nonprofit that affects change on many levels, from monitoring water quality to organizing cleanups to taking legal action against polluters.

Donation levels:

King - $100
Sockeye - $50
Coho - $20
Chum - $10

Or whatever you can manage! For registered swimmers and boaters, a $10 minimum donation is suggested.

This year, we're capping our swimmers at a max of 30. Hold your spot now! https://forms.gle/yiKKWTwNyTwHZNfR9
