Swim for a Source! Help kimmer_the_ swimmer build a well!
Donation protected

Did you know? Fetching water from the well is typically the children's responsibility in Uganda. Children who attend school will walk to class around 7am with empty rectangular jugs. Then around 5pm, when the school day is over, they will fill at the well before walking the rest of the way home, which can be miles and miles.
With your generosity, we can build another much-needed well in Uganda. These wells not only provide fresh drinking water to thousands of individuals, but also boost the economy as locals are hired to dig and install the wells.
One well along the side of a highway, right next to a humble church, attracts nearly 2,000 people per day!
I (Kimmer_the_swimmer) will be swimming the 24-mile length of Priest Lake, Idaho from August 19th-20th, 2024!
My mission is to complete my marathon swim, while raising awareness and funds to help build another well for a village in Uganda. One hundred percent of the money raised on gofundme will go toward making it happen!
The goal of $15,000 will build 1-2 wells, depending on it's location. Rocky areas are more expensive. The money we raise will go toward buying the land to build on and the expenses of building the well.
If you'd rather not donate, please consider supporting me and my crew through prayer and warm wishes! Thank you all for your ongoing support!
