This Sunday, I’ll be standing on the start line of the Outlaw Full Triathlon — an endurance event I’ve long aspired to tackle, but not been brave enough to enter!
It involves:
A 3.8km swim
A 180km cycle
And a marathon, 42.2km run (of sorts)
It’s by far the toughest challenge I’ve ever attempted, which is probably why I’m only now asking for your support; wasn't convinced I was going to make it to the start line!
I’m doing this, in part, in memory of my dear Dad and to raise funds for the charity he founded:
The JMB Educational Fund
A UK-based charity working to transform the lives of disadvantaged children in Nepal through education.
JMB provides grants and sponsorships that:
- Enable children to attend St Xavier’s School, Godavari, Moran Memorial School, Jhapa, and other institutions
- Support Further Education students at St Xavier’s College (Kathmandu and Godavari), as well as other universities and colleges depending on their chosen field
- Assist students at Social Service Centres in Kathmandu
Though we sadly lost Dad in February of this year, his legacy lives on through this important work — and with your support, more students and their families will continue to benefit for years to come.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me — and to the students whose lives you’ll be helping to change.
Thank YOU so much for reading / supporting — and wish me luck for Sunday....I'm going to need it!
